Investigating Micronutrient Deficiencies in Metabolic Disorders and age-related conditions and Drug-related Nutritional Imbalances due to treatment of these conditions: We would like to request biological samples and preferably an option to have them analysed by the provider as well. We wish to assay micronutrients (e.g. vitamins, ß-carotene) and/or their metabolites to explore nutritional deficiencies along with other associated biomarkers (e.g. homocysteine, MDA) which may not be direct metabolites but are involved in their metabolic pathways along with associated EHR.

We aim to explore the effect of environmental factors on micronutrients as well as any other associations between biological factors and micronutrient status in the above-mentioned populations.

In addition, we would like to explore any data on metabolites which your biobank may already have and which could be relevant to our research.
